The lighthouse has been abandoned since 1957.
Across Greyhaven Bay, the old lighthouse suddenly comes to life. A brilliant beam sweeps over the water. Then you hear a bell.
CLANG.
Your friend Maya looks at you. “Still want to go?”
You go.
You follow the shoreline until you reach an old wooden bridge. Several boards are missing. Below, the tide crashes through the rocks.
Then your flashlight catches something on the boards ahead.
Wet footprints.
Bare human feet.
They begin halfway across the bridge.
They lead toward the lighthouse.
